At A Time Of Sorrow Some Extra Help.
Sometimes were prepared for a death to occur, and sometimes were not. Fortunately, you do not have to deal with your loss alone. In association with Green River Hospice, we offer a six-week grief support group. For more information about this important free counseling service, call us at 754-1551.
The time after the funeral is important, too. For those who need some support in dealing with the wide range of emotions experienced when a death occurs, we maintain a library of books, videos and brochures. Often, we refer family members to grief counselors and other types of support groups.
When A Death Occurs…
It is important to reach out to family, friends, and professionals who can help.
Call us right away, regardless of time of day or location. If death occurs out of state be sure to call us first. Our assistance and guidance will be extremely valuable to you, when you are faced with the added difficulty of making initial arrangements from a distance.
Your Service. Your Choices.
The wishes and customs of your family play the most important part when we help you plan a funeral observance. Our goal: to ensure that the service is absolutely unique to the individual, illuminating and honoring the life that has been lived, and that every aspect proceeds flawlessly. Whatever your desires, we promise to meet your individual needs.
Helping you through the Holidays.
For many people who have experienced the death of a loved one, the Holiday season is a time of additional stress. We host our Annual Holiday Memorial Service the first Sunday in December at the First Baptist Church in Central City, Kentucky. This service has become a Muhlenberg County Tradition where family and friends gather to remember their loved ones and receive a beautifully engraved Christmas ornament.
During other times of the year, we sponsor memorial services for veterans and other important groups. Visit our web site often for information about these healing observances.
See our events calendar for upcoming community events, support groups, or special memorial events.
